Battle at the Boardwalk in Kemah, TX

The Elite Redfish Series will kick off the 2017 Western Division in beautiful Kemah, TX. Kemah has not hosted a professional redfishing tournament since the ESPNKemah_Broadwalk.svg Redfish cup in 2009, but that’s about to change! The pros of the Elite Redfish Series will battle the big waters of Galveston Bay in hopes of starting off the 2017 tournament season with a big win vaulting them into the divisional winner’s race and a brand new $65,000 boat/motor/trailer bonus prize.

It’s going to be a fantastic weekend in Kemah, long known for family fun and activities, great food and one of the best boardwalks in the country – the Kemah Boardwalk!

Originally a small fishing town, the city has become a tourist destination for the area’s restaurants and attractions, which are contained within the Kemah Entertainment District. In fact, in 2012 Kemah was ranked the top tourism spot in the Greater Houston area.

The pros of the Elite Redfish Series will be in town practicing weeks prior to the tournament, but will meet Wednesday, April 19th at the captain’s dinner and marshal pairings party.

The Aquarium Restaurant at the Kemah Boardwalk will be the host for this great event of food, fun, and fellowship from 5:30 to 7:30pm.

The pros of the Elite Redfish Series will have the added advantage of this event being held next door to, and in conjunction with, a first class marina. The Kemah Boardwalk Marina is a full service marina, 2nd to none.

What a great way and the perfect place to kick off the Western Division of the 2017 Elite Redfish Tournament Series!
