About Yamaha: Reliability. Performance. Innovation. It all starts right here. And that’s exactly why so many boaters won’t trust anything but a Yamaha out on the water.  Yamaha Outboards has proudly operated in the U.S. market for nearly 30 years. In that time, our engineers have become known for their relentless pursuit of a more satisfying boating and ownership experience for customers. As a result, Yamaha Outboards have become synonymous with innovation, performance and legendary reliability.

For nearly 30 years, Yamaha has led industry in innovation, but we can’t take all the credit. It’s our boaters’ high expectations that drive us to improve our game. To make it faster, more efficient, more exhilarating and more reliable. Here are just a few of our engineers’ notable innovations. Yamaha’s F350 was the world’s first V8 5.3 liter four stroke outboard. It redefined offshore power and offered an amazing alternative to inboard power, revolutionizing offshore boat design. The V MAX SHO® was the very first V6 4.2 liter super high output four stroke for bass boats. It changed the game by merging the quiet, clean-burning, fuel-efficient advantages of a four stroke with a light weight and class-leading hole shot and displacement. On and on the list goes, one thing is for sure, if you want your boat to be powered by the best, there’s only 1 name to consider, Yamaha!

This is going to be exciting and as usual, could not have happened without the help and hard work of a lot of people. To each and every one of them we say thank you, to Yamaha we say welcome back and to all the pro’s fishing the 2017 Elite Series we say, get ready. It is our hope that as the events and public’s interest continues to grow that each of you will experience many opportunities to begin or continue your quest in chasing the dream.  Thanks to major partners like the Yamaha Motor Corporation, we know that it will!

The Elite Series will feature 2 divisions in 2017 with the top points getter in each division, East and West, after just 3 more localized events being awarded a beautiful Skeeter/Yamaha rig sitting on a tandem McClain trailer. The same prize awaits the winner of the Classic Kick Off 2018.

Whether it’s time to re power your rig or purchase a new one altogether, one thing is for sure, it’s time to make sure that a Yamaha Outboard is powering it. Please visit Yamaha Outboards today to see all that they offer for 2017 and while visiting a live Elite Redfish Series weigh in be sure and schedule a demo, you’ll be glad you did.
